What sort of woman this is - Sept 17
“If this man were a prophet, he would know who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, that she is a sinner.” Luke 7:39
If only we were the sort of woman or man that worshiped and honoured Jesus with body and spirit with such deep devotion.
If only we were the sort of woman or man who wept over our sins in the face of the bottomless love of Jesus.
If only we were the sort of woman or man who kissed the feet of those who bring us good news.
If only we were the sort of woman or man who was always prepared with flasks of ointment on hand ready to anoint those who need healing and wholeness.
If only we were the sort of woman or man who acted towards God and others with undying love.
If only we were the sort of woman and man like this woman was.
