Spiritual Direction is a gift of mutual listening.
I am trained in the discipline of spiritual direction, which is sitting with another as we are attentive to God's presence, or absence, in the directee's life. It is a holy gift to sit with people in these times.
I am Mennonite, but hold that identity loosely and am deeply nourished by other traditions and practices, especially Benedictine spirituality. My faith inspires me to welcome all as Christ.
I received my training from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, and am a member of Spiritual Directors International. I also meet with a peer group of spiritual directors for supervision and accountability.
I am open to meeting with people at my work, The Hermitage, a retreat center near Three Rivers, Michigan, and am comfortable meeting in an online setting (Skype, FaceTime, etc). First sessions are always free.
